Actually, the one who got the boot, once I'd sorted him out, as now I was becoming an aware twelve year old, we'll he left me alone but taught me well the skills of cricket, made me captain of the team, taught me about leadership, which not only served me well through the rest of my schooling but years later as well.
So he did have his plus side. I certainly owe him a debt of gratitude, despite his short comings as a bit of a fiddler, so I believe!
