Yes they do go back a fair way, Astron being the other company that King heads and another one with a history on not getting a project up and running. The Mineral Sands Project (Peters headed) they have in South Australia is the prime example but it appears to be getting closer to completion after years of delays. FYI Astron shares once traded at $3.00 and today are trading at $0.23c
re: Simon Peters
There is a link between Peters and King from their time together at Astron (ASX:ATR) and GPP's web site lists his biography and credentials, although they do say "more recently" he was project executive at Astron but he left in 2015. He has a history in mining/exploration in both hard/soft rock with 12 years experience across Australia/Africa/Asia. https://www.linkedin.com/in/simon-peters-95489544/ https://www.greenpowerenergy.com.au/board-of-directors/
Prior to being a project executive he was also involved with logistics and business development at Astron, his appointment to GPP could/would be beneficial in both the OHD/Morabisi projects ? Would also mean that we could save any consultancy fees paid to Trench? as their skill sets are similar?
Although he has been around for 16 months at GPP and ......
cheers
