For the sake of the argument , I'm assuming Novacq lives up to all expectations. My biggest concern is making sure that future production is managed in order to maintain a premium price for a premium product for as long as possible. Notwithstanding we would receive royalty payments from other producers (outside of China and Vietnam), it would be a shame if we gave away our competitive advantage by licensing it to all and sundry. It is more than feasible that a lower cost producer overseas could undercut us even allowing for royalty payments.
That said, if it proves equally as effective with other species, it would be impossible for Ridley to keep up with demand by itself.
