Thank you for the information:
Not meaning to be negative but it would be exactly the information I expected from them, nothing new but there is a very big difference from this years AGM and last years. There is absolutely no enthusiasm being generated from those that attended the meeting other than now saying that its time for King to move on.
My biggest questions:
a) WHY do GPP now feel the need for our Geologist to be Guyana and not before hand?
Every body has been saying how good GSM are (and they may be all very good geologists)
b) so other than finding Lithium grab samples what successes have any of them had?
c) What successful drilling campaigns have they been the lead geologist for?
d) Has Watts lead a successful drilling campaign?
Basically, do GSM actually know why to put the drill? and will Watts be able to help them find it?
As for the voting of resolutions results.
No big surprises and on reflection it is clear that Gerard King is here to stay and that there is a general lack of interest from the shareholders (only 30% of eligible holders voted) and the higher FOR vote for issuing options to themselves was indicative of all talk no action.
With only 30% of voter participation (it is quite the normal range) Gerard King had approximately 30% voting power on all the resolutions other than resolution 4 where his vote was excluded (being the beneficiary of that resolution)
My prediction: Trading Halt this week for results of hole one and Kopang plans.
Maybe they found the Metrix Consulting Marketing report buried under the newspapers and might release that soon too, there again it will probably need updating.
All IMO
cheers
