I don't say Nocacq is a dud, merely the risk exists, however remote. It could have unrevealed toxic properties. It could be overtaken by a superior formula.
Continued forward-looking actions, such as enlarging the Thailand pondage and exploring further production sites in Ecuador and India, show the BoD firmly believe in Novacq.
Novacq has the potential to turn RIC into a leading global prawn feed manufacturer. Getting there will take real effort and capital.
The Investec advice will be crucial. Friday's announcement may well trigger a re-appraisal of RIC.
