They are reporting 2 damaged pens that hold 260,000 fish each so maximum 520,000 potential espcapees.
The number of people fishing & catching salmon (1 person on has caught 40 alone) suggests thousands have escaped. Funny part of ABC radio interview is one of the fisherman works for Tassel! Perhaps he wants to taste what a quality salmon tastes like.

I can't believe that HUO have not released a statement on this even if it is to say the amount of fish escaped is not material because it's getting so much coverage & you'd think they'd want to be proactive on the PR front.
