The history of works in Australias north is littered with failed attempts. North west exports at Wyndham ,The old Vesty works ( riverstone) in Darwin & all the others all suffered the same ills , seasonality . Wet season meant no movement of stock so shut down till the dry . Even BTEC with all its force fed cheep stock was not able to sustain an all tear round works. Can't see it changing.When the cheep Buffalo & scrubbers ran out so did the work.
