Sad day for Australian Oil and Gas sector in my opinion with the STO rejection of the Harbour offer, as I think an influx of foreign cash would have been good for all, but with the prediction of USD100 oil, this will go a long way especially with the AUD on a downward spiral due to interest rates being raised around the world.

Unfortunately the Reserve Bank doesn’t have too many knobs to turn to try to continue to preserve low interest rates and avoid a housing market collapse. What a difficult place they’re in.
