I built my own spreadsheet, one worksheet per stock, that records all activity (buy, sell, dividends etc) and also allows any sales to be allocated to specific parcels of shares. It also keeps track of the number remaining in each parcel as it is quite easy to stuff up and claim to sell the same shares more than once. Also several cross checks that make sure things are in balance.
