Its not complete BS in my view, however it is also my view that it is totally inconsistent without knowing and understanding the FA (at least half properly lol) along with upcoming news flows and general market, globally and locally, sentiment also needs considering. imo
Your value hunting FA is the single most effective way to achieve rewards with time I do have to admit. Selective careful TA can help this but those that think like yourself will always struggle with it as TA trading can induce losses and involves unknowns basically, the main idea of value investors is to not lose whereas TA trading will always involve losses, its a matter of working out the gains over the losses in each.
I will also admit that overtime I use TA less or am more selective to increase acuuracy.
