Obviously you had never had an audit or know what an audit is supposed to be about. There is no doubt for me that PP should have known there were anomalies in SGH accounts by June 2015. No red flags or objections were raised causing those who relied on that to accept the company financials were in good order.
Even my SMSF accounts are audited every year and a diligent auditor raises questions. I have even had a contravention sent to regulators and received a warning because I didn't have some paperwork.
Disclaimers don't protect auditors against professional negligence and that's for the courts to decide. You can bet MB are experts and have looked at the facts just like when they took on SGH.
