I took a look at this a while back and wasn't persuaded...I have some personal insight via my professional career into the malady (that I won't share)...but will say it involved a specialised child autism clinical psychologist who was supported by State welfare agencies.
I can tell you as an impartial bystander without any doubt in my mind that on my assessment that person was clueless and dangerous. On the other hand I have again in my professional capacity come across other clinical psychologists that are clear minded and provided well considered insights. So you can't broad brush the profession... but I would warn strongly against engaging those where greed is their creed and equally would salute those who act with benevolence and clear insights borne of critical thought and experience. That sentiment carries across to all professionals that impact on others lives.
Enough said.
