Energy Ministry Denies Indonesia’s Electricity Tariff Most Expensive Worldwide

"The selling price of electricity to the public as of July 2017 is at IDR1,352 per kilowatt hour (kWh) compared to December 2016's IDR605 per kWh."

"The non-subsidized base electricity tariff in Indonesia as of August 2017 is IDR1,467.28 per kWh, while for the 900 VA group whose subsidy has just been revoked applies slightly lower tariff, which is IDR1,352 per kWh. (*)"

Those power prices from that Mr fixit in 2016 are way off the mark.

August 2017 is IDR1,467.28 per kWh
Its double the price, but dream on if it makes you happy.
