I don't see any fools, people like @DrWho who refuse to adapt to new facts and embrace dissenting opinion do put themselves at a severe disadvantage.

People don't take an objective view of management, more sycophantic. Shareholders are docile and apathetic - that's a problem.

No-one learns what Ben Graham taught, the difference between investment and speculation. Everyone should read intelligent investor and upon reading it not everyone should be investing.

You have to start young enough to afford mistakes and learn from them - build your confidence then swing for the boundary.
