I’m almost certain there was at least an Insurance cost provisioning for the Seawall in the $93/4mil cost of rebuild. There was a published breakdown of the budget & i’m sure Insurance costs were part of that - someone will track it down i’m sure.
Whether cover was actually able to be obtained is another question, however we are all aware of how risk averse MGX are, that i’m quietly confident it is insured.
My mail is they have a great Insurance broking team behind them with heaps of mining experience so obtaining cover should not be an issue.
