I think one of the biggest issues is when companies assume that we have the same culture & regulatory environments, so they assume what works here will work there too.
I can't really speak for Shine's business acumen in that regard. It seems that the work involved in Risk Worldwide will possibly wind down and perhaps Shine will use its media exposure in NZ to expand its business into other areas?
I do get the impression that Australia is more litigious than NZ.
