Take Security To The Next Level With Thermal Imaging Technology

If you’re deadly serious about keeping intruders out, then you’ll be nothing less than pleased to hear that Spectur is now in the final trial stage of testing their new stand-alone, solar-powered thermal imaging cameras. Thermal detection is an exciting and game-changing technology which used to only be found in action movies or in the hands of government-funded black opp military groups! But from July 2018 onward these revolutionary new cameras could be scouting your commercial premises both day and night for anyone with ill intent.
The new camera systems are now being trialled with a variety of tier one customers, including a national logistics operator and a critical infrastructure provider. They will be added to Spectur’s already world-class range of stand-alone, solar powered security cameras after July this year. The end result? Complete peace of mind with a security camera that shows a detailed heat scape of your property. It will instantly register the heat signature of intruders or vehicles as far as 300 meters away and notify you of the breach.
To put it somewhat dramatically, this release means the dead of night will no longer be a sweet spot for criminals looking to gain access to your property. On the cost side of things, managers will get closer than ever to a zero loss rate.
Spectur’s thermal imaging technology is effective in all types of low light - from dusk, to pitch black conditions and it doesn’t need an added light like traditional CCTV cameras require at nighttime. If your perimeter is breached you’ll be notified within a minute and be able to log in to the Spectur cloud to take the necessary steps to apprehend any would-be thieves before they can do the damage. Then, you can just sit back and watch online as our monitoring staff and the Police work together to stop the intruder.
Thermal Imaging Security Cameras For Every Application
In the past, Spectur’s solar-powered systems were customised for clients in the building and infrastructure industries, but the low power design of these new thermal cameras means a broader range of clients will have access to thermal imaging security technology.
Our in-house testing team has logged results beyond expectation proving the thermal imaging technology capable of detecting the heat signatures of both humans and vehicles up to 300 meters away in complete darkness.
Impressively, Spectur is already testing phase two of the technology which will be effective at a range in excess of a kilometre.
The stand-alone nature of Spectur security cameras demanded that the engineers went the extra mile to develop an extremely power efficient battery system which won’t require an AC connection to the mains power like you’ll find in CCTV camera setups. That means no extra costs or added wiring upon installation. If you suspect you’ve got an issue with security, Spectur can literally bring in a system, set it up and you’ll be fully operational within an hour.
The new thermal imaging security camera system uses a 3G or 4G signal to send and store images in the Spectur’s cloud system. This means your footage is kept off-site and securely for your access at any time of the day or night. It also means you won’t have to purchase an extra recorder or leave a laptop running on site to capture the frames second by second.
Thermal Imaging System Available From JULY 2018
Commercial sales will begin in JULY of 2018 and security cameras with thermal imaging will be available to purchase for your business. Spectur is thrilled to offer this new technology to existing clients as an upgrade option and will be looking to break into the long-range detection market for new clients across Australia.

Commentators believe that this new technology has the potential to completely change the solar security camera market and as a market leader in the industry Spectur is proud to be spearheading it.
