I guess the key words from the article a month ago are:

"Ms Alannah MacTiernan as saying that it was possible a group of potential iron ore miners with Chinese backing could ship their product through Oakajee, near Geraldton."

"Ms MacTiernan said that “At this point there are two projects that we in government are actively working on one through Geraldton Port and the other proposal is through a trans-shipment opportunity at Oakajee.”

I would genuinely think the transhipping proposal would be a secondary choice, although its a cheaper option , I don't think it would deliver the deep water requirements and therefore economic benefits for cruise ships and other uses (Don't forget the port wouldn't just be for Iron Ore shipments). It would unlock the region especially if Developed in conjunction with an true international capable airport.

TBH Who the hell else could it be that she is talking about but ANS/Padbury?
