I know that is what they saying now, but we were led to believe that they would be able to operate until end June on high grade oxide ore from their newly stripped pits - that is my recollection. It was the reason they spent so much time and money stripping some of their deposits to get at oxide ore that would take BDR over the hump until the plant was upgraded to handle the sulphide complexed ore.
I am pretty sure that got mentioned many times, including by the mighty Atom.
So am I dreaming this? If I am i need to sell all my goldies since I obviously am no longer able to comprehend the reports put out by companies, and should have my money managed by an industry super fund. If I am right then I want an explanation what went wrong with this plan. Where they unable to operate in these pits during the wet season because they do not have the pumping equipment to clear them for machinery to operate or whatever? Wrong estimation in relation to what was actually in those pits? I dunno. Simon, please explain.
