Hi beans
This is from the WA news yesterday - my emphasis:
"The company has also expanded its footprint at Doolgunna to more than 6000sqkm via a series of exploration farm-in agreements with smaller neighbours, most recently one with Auris Minerals. Mr Simich said he believed the Auris deal meant Sandfire had tied up the best prospective corridor in the area. Also:
“We are of the view that there are more VMS deposits in the area but we don’t know the scale,” he said."
"Mr Simich said he expected the next four years to be Sandfire’s best with strong margins from reduced operating costs, which would boost its $188 million cash pile and open up other opportunities."
So, in saying this 'the best prospective corridor in the area' in that context means that he likes the Goodin Fault best of all. And what did the voted-out Directors do with some of it? They virtually gave it away. That was the last straw for the holders who caused the spill. But, he wanted more, still wants - Cashmans etc- but didn't get it with the old Board. Now he might? Thanks Carl for saying: 'the best prospective corridor in the area'.
What's Cashmans etc worth to you then?
