If at all it will be low margin concentrate feed to Chinese processors.
China is 85% of the NdPr > NdFeB mkt, Lynas has +60% of the other 15% in Japan locked up and will grab more next year as it ramps to 7200tpa NdPr. Rare Earth Salts is currently supplying Tb, next stage fully funded, and looking to build to 5ktpa total REO early next decade. They are claiming < $2kg separation OpEx and staged expansion ~1500tpa modules @ $30M each.
Only mkt for newbies will be China who already have massive separation overcapacity, $680M replicas make no economic sense, join the queue behind GGG, HAS, NTU, probably ALK from QR indication, to supply low value concentrate to the Dragon. GGG's indications were $3.60kg in chloride.
GL being competitive in that environment.
