"Yet, there is a clear understanding that an open U.S. market will present its challenges not seen elsewhere and that there should be a newly created platform specifically tailored for an American market.

"We will have to build something that's a bit custom to the U.S. but at the same time one of our strengths is our experience with 350 people in our risks and trading department," says Levin. "We're already doing markets for all U.S. sports because it's growing in popularity, especially in Australia. At the same time, there's some work we will do to make sure it's tailored to the U.S. market."
