LNY and the Ewamian People have been on excellent terms for many years and, as recently as January 2014, no objection was raised for LNY when a 5,472 tonne Metallurgical Sample was mined, hauled and toll-treated through a CIL processing plant at Georgetown.
And, as we know, the actual owners have already signed an agreement approving the proposed mining.

The "hiccup" appears to have occurred between September 2016 and November 2017, with the likelihood that that might have been "problems" with the EOPL deal, but, from what we have ascertained, there are no "obstacles" just formalities and it's anyone's guess how and when they will be resolved.
But, I've always been prepared to say that it is not an "if" but a "when". People should draw their own conclusions, but, for mine, 30 April or 1 May will be LNY's next "obstacle" that they must clear to shareholders' satisfaction.

Hi Gassed the Land owner who originaly gave permission to mine ( As you Know ) he died and the New owners ( Relatives ) asked for MORE . Yes an agreement was made . As I see things the Ewamian T/O realised that the Land Owners had recieved a better settlement and decided to up their demands. . Both the Land owners along with the Ewamian T/O demands should have been settled at the SAME Time . Yes the Directors also have a lot to answer for re Lack Of Keeping Us Shareholders informed Cheers Towie
