Good points. About voting. A significant number of Australians hold industry or retail superannuation invested in managed funds that include Santos. All superannuants are disenfranchised in this vote because the fund managers and super trustees do not often, if at all, vote.
Don't get me started on voting!
Everything that gets voted in is done by a handful of share holders. Institutions of some sort. Individual share holders like us matter for dribble.
And the people voting on behalf of the Institutions may not even own any shares themselves.
Only way around this crap is one share holder one vote.
