I for some time have thought that there is a serious possibility that this smells really bad. See back to my Matrix oil fiasco and rumours that it was a Bre-ex.
May be it was going to be just too profitable to let the Aussies have. May be the oil just isn’t there. Seems like it is going to be abandoned. May be Petronas are going to come back to pick up the oil at a later date when the dust settles.
Who knows? We will probably never know the truth.
I’m sure Geoff is doing what he can. But if they are screwing oxx, Geoff will have very limited power to fight.
And besides weren’t Petronas winding up this type of operation?
Certainly not much to cheer about.
