Not sure if we are at cross purposes, but I believe I agreed on performance AG is better. NG doesn;t match up. But it's cheaper. So a blend that can meet overall performance reqts is more economic.
I agree the SYR overhead is significant. But some other new suppliers are already contracted through 2021, and by 2022 demand should have soaked up SYR and be looking for more. There's a lot of graphite, but existing China supply is dropping and there's also a lot of incoming demand. Agreed, it's not rare, but neither is Cu and iron ore. And they both have well functioning markets that reward lower cost producers well, do they not?
