Not sure about the rigour of your little survey but yeh don’t disagree with the spirit of what you say

I rarely go long on these types of outfits, or load up too heavily, because the failure rate is just too high and sector so full of rent-seekers

My warning flags are usually as follows:

1. mgmt has very little financial stake in the company
2. company has a record of non accretive capital raises
3. mgmt media commentary is dismissive or disrespectful of the market or shareholders

I’ll still trade companies that raise such flags (as I am now) but I’ll tread lightly and be ready to bolt at a moment’s notice

My holding in azure isn’t big and i’m not much underwater, but I’m feeling increasingly despondent about things here

I think Tony’s reputation is tethering the shareprice at these low levels. after 10 years at this game he’s got no goodwill left, people simply don’t trust him imo

I’d like to see him demoted (with a pay cut) to exploration manager or some such and get a qualified business development specialist in the md chair
