Remember The Reverend DF's company-saving debt deal for AGO. From what I recall, DF stepped back to the helm of M-D to fix things as the iron ore price collapsed. Does not get much tougher than that, in corporate finance, in my opinion. Sure, things are not going great for that company in this iron ore price environment - but the key point is DF is pretty experienced in corporate finance and is no stranger to The Deal. I suspect, although it's a gamble on my part, that the bloke has probably got more idea about financing resource companies than we do, and suffice to say decent contacts in a range of financial institutions, and that's another reason why we invested our money here. When I stop backing management, it means I start looking for an exit. Not the case here.
