Until they get a run, or even a single or foul ball, on the board, you have to take anything a company director says with a grain of salt these days. Best of calling rather than emailing imo.
If they really wanted to send a message to the market, then all directors buying on market in unison would be a good start. No recent director buying is sending a message if it’s own.
