The most important critical success factor in business is investing in the right management team and not investing in the right idea or the right potential resource. If they screw up shareholders will have nothing - potential or not.
imo, as a shareholder you need an appreciation of who is running the company and only then can you ask yourself are they the right choice?
Past performance is indicative of future performance. If you bet on a management team that has been extraordinarily successful in the past, then your chance of success betting on this management team in the future is materially higher than it is betting on a B or a C management team.
GPP have had 10 years to focus, concentrate and execute multiple projects - can you tell me what the "D" team has achieved during that time and why they should be permitted to continue to do so without scrutiny from shareholders?
