I agree with your assessment, the hematite ironstones aren't as "easy" to find as the magnetite ironstones, but the upside is, that its possible to get very high gold grades associated with the high grade copper in the hematite ironstones compared to the magnetite ironstones.

I still think its fairly prospective ground, that hasn't seen a lot of exploration since the 1970s through to the early 1990s. Probably because (as Midnight26 post alludes to) there have been more "obvious" or "easy" ironstones to explore elsewhere in the region.
