I mean as a shareholder you would hope that the management had actually spent money setting up an"operation" of sorts in Bolivia and if they were then going to shut it down then there would be some recompense for the money invested.
Unfortunately if you read between the lines of the announcements about Bolivia VIC had hardly anything of substance. From what I can glean it would appear that VIC had no ownership of the several tailings areas that they were poking about in. They had some slight agreement with COMIBOL that they could do some testing but there was nothing beyond that.
So what does it give them to sell to some other company. They own no equipment there. They have a few paltry results on paper and 99% of a company that has nothing.
Strange that VIC has not mentioned what they have done with Mr Galvez. Have they paid him out or just dumped him Bolivia ? How much money have they spent on Bolivia?
There are always too many things left unanswered. But that is how VIC operates. Polish up what might be deemed to be positives and leave other things as obscure as possible.
So yes. In my opinion the value of whatever it is that VIC has in Bolivia now is ZERO. ZILCH. NOTHING.
I have my doubts that there will be any further comment about Bolivian operations unless it is absolutely required to be disclosed in an annual report or similar.
