It does seem that although some of the CBA recent activity is securities borrowing (for covered short selling presumably), it looks like most of the current interest is the investment teams (inc Asset Management who are buying on recent weakness in share price) which is a positive.
We've seen big moves like this in share price before which didn't materialise into a genuine change in the investment case at all. Not saying that's the case but as an investor you need to not jump at shadows IMHO.
Personally I'm still focussed on the bigger picture 2018/19 positive possibilities and with a bit of luck the recent contract will be confirmed in a week or 2 and the FAL hiccups will turn out to be just that.
