•Market knows GPP is undervalued expect 2c+ soon
•23rd March: On 19 January 2018 Greenpower provided the market with an exploration update relating to the Turesi Lithium prospect and associated drilling. Greenpower has been advised by its partner GSM that the drilling rig is in Georgetown, Guyana and that it will be moved to the drill site over the next two weeks. Greenpower will advise shareholders once the rig is onsite and drilling has commenced. GSM have advised that the Company’s excavator was mobilized last week and has been patching the road where necessary in order to bring the drill rig through.
•12th March: Capital raised from the Placement and SPP will be used to advance the Turesi Ridge drilling campaign at the Morabisi Lithium project, ensure the existing portfolio of assets is kept in good standing and to augment working capital.
A lot of work has been done on it, and still some desktop work is going on.
This was said on acquisition anns on Nov.8 2017;
"Ni-Cr mineral occurrence observed within the Project area which may also be
favourable to host cobalt. The Joint Venture has acquired full data package from this program for its exclusive use....
there is an historical nickel/chromium (Ni-Cr) occurrence in granitic-mafic contact at the eastern extent to the PGGS. The area is easily accessible by road,..The historical nickel-chromium occurrence located in the eastern portion of the Kopang PGGS....
No modern exploration on the Kopang Ni-Cr
occurrence has been reported, except that a regional aeromagnetic survey indicates a
corresponding high magnetic response....
Importantly, cobalt is often associated with Ni-Cr occurrences in these geological environments, and will be emphasized as part of the Phase 1 evaluation of the target...
The 2018 dry season runs from early February until late April. This will allow for the Phase 1 program to complete the eastern half with stream sediment sampling in the PGGS and ground truthing/follow up work on the very encouraging samples already taken by the GGMC in the west.
Given the existing road network on the PGGS the sampling is expected to occur quickly in comparison to Morabisi. As there will not be a need to build roads it is expected that the budget will allow investigation of the Ni-Cr occurrence.
Results from Phase 1 will drive the phase II drilling and trenching focus."
That tells me that the cobalt potential in the area is great. The desktop studies are going on by the GPP geologists. GSM crew knows the potential too. Borg is the managing director of CLA which explores cobalt. He knows a lot about the cobalt too.
That tells me that BB and associates are betting on both lithium and cobalt (plus nickel) potential of GPP atm. If one of those projects are proven resources, the sp of GPP wont be any less than 6c ($100m market cap by 1.5b shares fully diluted).
These are the maps of Kopang. 1st map is from company anns. (Red marking is mine).
2nd map is my map showing terrain. The eastern side of the licence is suitable for nickel-cobalt occurrence. It is said on anns " a regional aeromagnetic survey indicates a corresponding high magnetic response." That means there is a aeromagnetic survey has been done in the area which tells a lot about the suitable geology for NI and Co occurrence.
It is known that if there is Nickel there there should be cobalt too. Cobalt occurs higher with nickel (ave. 0.1%) than when it occurs with copper (ave. 0.05%).
The only exception to this in the world is at Katanga copper belt of DRC. The roan group of that copper belt contains ave. grade od 0.15% cobalt. That's why the 60% of world cobalt supply is coming from that area. However it is a conflict zone and more secure cobalt supply zones have to be find.
GPP told that they will start Kopang Phase 1 program to complete the eastern half with stream sediment sampling which means they will firstly look for Nickel cobalt potential in the permit area.
Given the existing road network on the PGGS the sampling is expected to occur quickly in comparison to Morabisi. As there will not be a need to build roads it is expected that the budget will allow investigation of the Ni-Cr occurrence. Results from Phase 1 will drive the phase II drilling and trenching focus.
I think they needed more money to complete this program too. They haven't advised us if they are starting the Kopang Phase-1 program so far but they might start at any time. And the tenching will be done asap in Phase-2 program.
• and the ultimate one drill noise soon
