It is unusual that a utility outlines a change in policy and mentions companies by name ahead of any official announcement.

Anyway, not complaining about the heads up.

The new name for it is the “modular network.”  I expect we will be hearing a lot more about it in the near future.

“The modular network will provide you with more choice in how you produce, manage and use your energy. In the future you’ll be able to sell or share your excess energy generated through solar or other technologies, own a piece of a community battery and manage your electricity use with an advanced meter.”
