Some speculation at present that cattle on feed numbers as of a few months ago could have been overestimated...also cold weather may eventually reduce carcass weights ( that’s my call..haven’t read on this site yet but that flows from many years observing futures markets) . Interesting though that feeder steers that seemed too dear a few months ago seemed to lead the fat prices...recently feeder steers have been dropping!!
I lean toward a bit of a pickup in prices there though
