Australia and Asia-Pacific .AJ Lucas Group Limited (AJL) has three business segments. The pipelines and directional segment; gas and coal drilling services; construction and civil engineering.

PIPELINES: AJL provides a complete service in pipelines construction, from design and engineering, through every stage of construction to hydrostatic testing and commissioning of pipelines. AJL has experience on all major
pipelines, carry gas, oil, water, sewage and slurries. AJL is involved in almost all the major gas pipelines built in Australia as well as many local reticulation networks.

COAL SEAM GAS: Lucas Coal Technologies provides the coal seam resource industry with specialist drilling expertise in coal seam degasification and mine exploration. In-seam drilling is a major factor in the success of the Australian
coal industry's efforts to control seam gas and establish a safe and productive mining environment.

GAS AND COAL DRILLING SERVICES: Since the acquisition of McDermott Drilling in July 2006, AJL now offers a full service drilling capability covering vertical,horizontal and surface to inseam drilling.

CONSTRUCTION AND CIVIL: A subsidiary of AJL, the company primary focus is in construction, civil engineering and facilities management. The Company has built hundreds of landmarks in Sydney since its conception, additionally with
refurbishment of heritage buildings expertise.

HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING: Horizontal directional drilling, or HDD, has revolutionised the installation of linear infrastructure. Instead of digging trenches, HDD can take a pipe or conduit directly from one point to another up to several kilometres away with almost no surface disturbance.
