gas well analysis, dead easy stuff.. all anyone needs to do analysis on a gas well, is gas flare photo, as peter strachan has clearly proven with the dempsey flare photo. hell i knew straight away myself after seeing that photo.. clearly the colour of the yellow flare indicated a tight reservoir. needing fraccing. just flare photo analysis 101... and clearly it indicated which sections were tight.. dead obvious.. its just that people pay peter for what is dead obvious to all of us..
imho, when you think through dempsey, you have a case where the the operator is changing its mind to suits its needs perhaps?? firstly the delay was because of a frac permit, which meant a very expensive frac operation to follow.. then imho, after running out of cash, the operator looks for the least costly method to test the well. so no frac now. its up to the wise to predict if this style of completion will achieve flow rates to remotely pay back any of the well costs, which must be astronomical by now.. and in hindsight, it makes the previous frac photo analysis a joke really...
regarding the damages claim... my view on whats happening to the share value is justifiable. the market cannot mark the share up to the 40 mill it could ultimately recover. in fact its not giving any value for the damages claim. which gives those whom are buying up the millions of share today, the opportunity for a massive return on any success by xstate on that matter. and i suspect the ones buying are those that clearly understand what level of success can be achieved. they perhaps understand the legal system also.
