I can see where your coming from. A good story should never be disturbed by facts.
Batteries from cars will be recycled into battery farms, but solar panels that are problematic won't be used except by a few blockies and shack owners out your way.
There will not be a big market for multi-millions of panels, probably hundreds of millions of panels in twenty years time.
New panels may also be completely different sizes, therefore different wind loading.... basically, solar farms are technology dumping grounds and at some point someone will have to take responsibility for tidying up.
Do not want the joint looking like Tehachapi Ca. windfarms.
