They have to pay the purchase somehow so that would mean a placement or share purchase plan to current holders or both. One would think that they had enough time to think about this before announcing to market yesterday. WHy another halt?
That is why I am just flagging the possibility of something that might be going on with the MBL stable. A few years ago they had a ding dong over take over of another infrastructure group. I think it was Infratil from memory.
Basically I am only thinking out loud.
