I sometimes think about these ‘sure things’ (obviously no such thing, but as close as they come). At the time I invest in them I think ‘We’ll, I cant say with much certainty what’s going to happen with my other investments in the short to medium term, but I’m 99% sure the price of this one will go up”

And then the stock does go up, just as I ‘knew’ it would, and I wonder to myself why I didn’t throw more chips on the table! The lesson I’ve learned (drummed home through repeated opportunity cost) is to double down on ‘sure winners’ and make that trade count! Gltah
