Earlier today I posted a statement of concern about the share price of Azure, and postulated market manipulation as a possible explanation. It was more a question than a statement.
I received a big response, and some rather feverish discussion.
In general everyone agreed that they were disappointed with the share price. But the reasons offered were quite diverse, from those who said the company was incompetent and had chosen their targets badly, and those who blamed the exploration techniques of the company, and those who blamed the profligate behaviour of the management. I suggested market manipulation.
The majority blamed the company. If that was the case, then there is no hope for the company because the management team aren't changing. There is an anomaly here because significant and experienced investors have thrown their money in. Are they all deceived? Are they also going to lose their money.
A history of mining tells us that persistence is one of the essential qualities of successful mining companies.
We have two alternatives, sell now, or hang in to see where the company goes.
Look at the assets now of the company:
1. they are cashed up
2. They are ready to develop three very prospective areas, Oposura(zinc, lead, silver), Sara Alicia (cobalt, gold, silver plus possibly copper), Alacran (silver, gold possibly copper)
3. Prospectivity ranges across many metals, and the area is a stable region with a lengthy mining history.
4. They have a very skilled team.
The question is whether to hang in there, or alternatively 'pull the plug'?
I know what I am doing.
