Must be going downhill for 28km to get 30km out of the battery because my mates 3yo Prius with full battery will only go a couple of km on EV mode. Electric motor is big & heavy for its power output as well as power hungry but I guess that is one of the downsides of eliminating Dy from the motor and replacing it with fridge magnets.
Fuel economy on petrol is ok if going easy on the pedal but only about the same as wifes c200 diesel and about 10 times as noisy , not much of a "green car" . Cutting some weight by getting rid of the phony EV components would probably improve fuel economy by at least 0.5 L/100km but then they couldn't call it a hybrid.
