I just threw the AACo interest in to the mix as they are very similar companies. Reminds me very much of Elders and RuralCo. Anything north of $880m for CPC should be favourable for AACo.

Anyway AACo is being marked down due to management changes, operational performance and the financial results in December position caused a further slide compounded by the US antics as the US is about 25% of AACo's revenue. If CPC gets a cash sale for the whole entity it will put pressure on the AACo market capitalisation and, for once, we might be in agreement that it has greater upside than downside for the share price.

However the low that it just hit was a good entry point for those wanting an agriculture exposure and is prepared to sit it out for while. Patience will be needed.

Mind you look at what 1AG just did.....who would have guessed.
