I disagree, but that sort of discussion is what these threads are about. I have experience in investing in many start up companies, and a key milestone is the start of production. This is the time to start issuing guidance and to think about paying a small dividend to Shareholders. Maybe not straight away, but definitely in the first few years of income production. Shareholders and the Market will appreciate this, and it will be clearly reflected in the Share Price.
Unfortunately, most companies rarely become debt free, and in the O & G space, look at the big producers, Santos for example, they inevitably have to borrow more to get big projects up and running..... as will we.
Guidance and a small divvy make huge sense, and enforces sensible, staged planning, and a much greater focus on profitability. As for our company, there will ALWAYS be something to pay, repair, replace, grow, prospect, build or spend etc etc etc, we have plenty of costly big ticket items ahead.
