Perhaps someone knows a rival bid is on the way.... only the rival bidder would know that. That would be a massive breach of confidentiality/leak.... attracting ASX attention
Who is the seller?.... Lepu spring to mind... perhaps they are happy enough to take the money now.... however, not high chance of them being the one.... they did make $30million in 5 minutes.
Could be as simple as an insto is happy to pay $1.64 today and receive $1.75 in 4 months time.... for a 6% profit... 24%annualised.
A lot better than they historically generate for shareholders.
Chi X also has a 10million trade.... total 30million in two chunks.
Hard to ignore this action.
