Come on guys, a bit of lateral thinking needed here.
I would be sure this is a case of them developing their own surplus freehold land around their current mining operations that they've owned for over 50 years and that is in the Balance Sheet at $0 but now conservatively(?) worth over a hundred million(?) dollars! This would be prized land with ocean views of Bass Strait, currently wind-swept at 20 knots and preventing Ignazio from loading rather than those scenic views looking over North Pit.
This is definitely another instance of our brilliant BOD realising assets(such as Southdown) that are currently valued on the Balance Sheet at zero and valued by Mr Market at the same value.
It's going to be like finding gold nuggets in an iron ore mine!
