What adage is there to describe the market? We can never buy at the lowest and sell at the highest - anyone who says they have done so are either fibbers or plain lucky.
Whatever. Money is for using to enhance your own life styles, so good for you! You have stuck it out and now are harvesting the rewards.
I once made a motza on a particular share but did not get out when it began to fall. The fall continued.
It would have been life-changing if I had sold anywhere near where it had reached but remained stubbornly convinced they would go back to their old highs. Never happened. You are smart to take your bonanza.
