Maybe that is not too far from the truth. There are bound to be some PW hangers on left on the register, who could create some havoc if given half a chance - either through evidence of leaking or deflating the SP.
Also, with the history of this stock that the current directors have inherited, I am sure they need to be as clean as possible.
Just my conspiracy theory...
