As Slalom points out, the company has been going for a very long time. In that time there have been severe droughts, several world depressions, serious over-grazing, understocking when there is abundant feed, justified strikes by underpaid indigenous workers, abuses by British owners and boom years when the rest of the world demanded beef. It has always been thus.
Of course it's marginal land. Always has been and always will be.
Your aim to double in three years is not unrealistic. Hang in there, cobber.
